This is the British Lion Class BB 1939, produced by Superior in 1:1200 scale as model B102. As Britain was not prepared to go to the full 45,000 tons under the escalator clause of the most recent naval treaties, she designed this 40,500 ton vessel with a powerful armament of nine 16inch and a speed of 30 knots. Due to war priorities, this class was cancelled on the slips.
