| All five of these Len Jordan 1:1200 scale
merchant ships are the essence of simplicity: one piece resin-cast waterline hulls and
nothing more. They are nevertheless outstanding. Intricately detailed and
expertly cast, you will be amazed at what Len Jordan accomplishes in this scale. Add brass wire masts (not included) and
paint, then impress your friends when you tell them that you labored for "weeks"
creating these little gems. The only detail I would consider adding is etched brass railing from Tom's Modelworks, and even this
is not essential in 1:1200 scale.
Jordan specializes in British merchant ships and liners, but does produce a few U.S. vessels, including the ubiqitous Liberty, and C-3 cargo ship. They are reasonably priced and beautifully detailed.
